Join us as we celebrate 37 years of First Mondays: well-loved classics and new compositions, performed by some of the finest chamber musicians in the world, free and open to all.

Together with NEC's Intercultural Institute, the NEC Jazz Orchestra will present a performance of Chico O'Farrill's legendary Afro-Cuban Jazz Suite, guest Arturo O'Farrill's Afro-Latin Jazz Suite, and works by guest artist Somi Kakoma and NEC's Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol.

Individual CI students and student ensembles perform works by internationally renowned guitarist, composer, and improviser Mary Halvorson. This concert caps a three-day residency comprising coachings, discussions, and a masterclass.
