Housing Selection

NEC has completed the process to re-envision what on-campus housing should look like for the academic year in order to best support student health and well-being during the pandemic! We thoroughly appreciate all of your patience and flexibility while we finalized plans and procedures. Please feel free to visit our Welcome Back, NEC website with updated information about how the new year will flow at NEC.

Note for Rising Juniors, Rising Seniors, Current Graduate Students, and Incoming Graduate Students: In order to gauge further interests and anticipated changes in plans from the pandemic, we are opening a Housing 2020-2021 Waitlist. Further, there is no guarantee of entry into on-campus housing, as the priority is still for first-year and second-year NEC students per current residency requirements. If you are an incoming first-year or transfer undergraduate student, please DO NOT complete the waitlist form.

Incoming first-year undergraduate students are required to live in the Residence Hall for their first four (4) semesters at NEC. After being accepted to NEC, incoming first-year undergraduate students will receive information about on-campus housing and a link to the online housing application via email by the end of Spring or after.

Please refer to the Tuition and Fees page for current housing prices.

If you would like to request a housing accommodation due to a diagnosed medical condition and/or disability, please submit the appropriate request form and required documentation. Returning students must submit their requests for housing accommodations by March 1st at 5:00pm EST. Incoming students must submit their requests for housing accommodations by July 19th at 5:00pm EDT. More information is available of the Disability Support Services website.
