Gifts to The NEC Fund are a vital way every member of the NEC community can have a direct impact on the future of music at NEC.
The NEC Fund supports faculty salaries, student scholarships, classroom equipment, technology and academic programs. NEC is committed to equipping the most talented musicians from around the world with the ability to fulfill their artistic and intellectual potential. Unrestricted support to The NEC Fund provides immediate support to the area of greatest need on campus.
Your gift will have an immediate impact and provide critical, current-use support this academic year.
Each year, thousands of young musicians apply for admission to NEC from all over the world. Nine out of ten request financial assistance. For many, the scholarship and offer package is a crucial factor in their decision to attend NEC.
NEC is fortunate to employ over 200 internationally renowned musicians (includes multiple winners of the Rome Prize, Pulitzer Prize, Grammy Awards, Avery Fisher Prize) who foster a supportive space for a student’s personal and artistic growth. Whether working with musicians at NEC’s Preparatory School, College, or School of Continuing Education, NEC faculty enable students to grow their creative voices and achieve the highest standards of excellence. As a result of the student-faculty relationship, the NEC community is one of bold innovation, limitless artistic possibilities, and thoughtful reflection on the meaning of musicianship in 21st-century life.
Your gift will ensure that NEC is able to continue to retain and recruit musicians from around the world who inspire students to forge connections, embrace risk-taking and innovation, and set new standards of excellence.
