Recital: Kabir Adhiya-Kumar '22, Jazz Drums
NEC's students meet one-on-one each week with a faculty artist to perfect their craft. As each one leaves NEC to make their mark in the performance world, they present a full, professional recital that is free and open to the public. It's your first look at the artists of tomorrow.

This concert is heavily inspired by, and owes a lot to, and owes a lot to, Black American Music (in all its various iterations). It’s also meant to represent my own experience as a South-Asian American growing up in the 21st century. my parents
for supporting my dream of pursuing music as a career path

all of my teachers,
whose perspective and wisdom has allowed me to discover what I’m truly capable of.
