NEC Concert Choir + Chamber Singers present Great Music for a Great Space
The "Great Music for a Great Space" concert series, performed in NEC's historic Jordan Hall, showcases a collection of choral masterworks—both sacred and secular, a cappella and accompanied—spanning from the Renaissance to the 21st century.
The first half of the evening will feature works by Dello Joio, Gibbs, Hawley, Mendelssohn, Parry, Rautavaara, and NEC alumnus Henry Mollicone ’68, ’71 MM. The second half will be devoted to selections of Holst's Choral Hymns from the Rig Veda and Vedic Hymns, and will feature six graduating soloists.
