New England Conservatory presents Mahler’s beloved Symphony No. 2 in a special evening at Boston’s Symphony Hall. Hugh Wolff leads NEC Philharmonia, the Conservatory’s top orchestra, while Erica J. Washburn directs a 130-singer choir comprised of NEC’s collegiate Chamber Singers and Concert Choir, joined by pre-collegiate singers from NEC Preparatory School’s Camerata.

Known as the Resurrection Symphony, this thrilling masterwork waxes turbulent and triumphant while wrestling with themes no less weighty than the meaning of life, life after death, and the hope for transcendence.

Enjoy one of the world’s most popular symphonies, performed by the exceptional young musicians of New England Conservatory, at one of the world’s most cherished concert halls.
