Welcome to NEC's Summer Institute for Contemporary Performance Practice (SICPP): 8 days and nights of explosive new music! The SICPP experience is intense and demanding—each day is filled with masterclasses, lessons, colloquia, and rehearsals.

This incredible evening concert is presented by SICPP faculty Stephen Drury and Gabriela Díaz, along with Christopher Moore and David Russell, and will feature a work by the SICPP Composer-in-Residence, Michael Finnissy.

ABOUT THE SUMMER INSTITUTE FOR CONTEMPORARY PERFORMANCE PRACTICE (SICPP)

SICPP is an 8-day intensive seminar on the performance of 20th and 21st century music, culminating in a day-long marathon of explosive new music, a smorgasbord of masterworks and world premieres by composition fellows.
