Looking back at my past 5 years in the Harvard-NEC dual degree program, I have much to be thankful for. Through the many ups and downs, these are the people without whom this experience would not have been possible.

First and foremost, I would like to thank Mr. Katz for his inspiring teaching and guidance. He took in an overeager 17 year old, and had the patience to stick with me all these years even when I just would NOT practice... His voice will continue to influence my music making for a long time.

I appreciate the close friends that I have made this year at NEC. I am especially grateful for my pianist Hyunjin and my violinist Hyeon. My special relationship with my trio as musicians and friends has been one of the most rewarding experiences of this year at NEC.

Finally, I would like to thank my family for always believing in me. The depth of their love continues to inspire me to grow to become a person worthy of that love. It has brought me so much fulfillment to have rediscovered my relationship with my cello in full this past year, and I am so excited to continue this journey.
