NEC School of Continuing Education: String Workshop

To all New England Music Lovers: you are warmly invited to the NEC School of Continuing Education String Workshops and Chamber Music Reading Fest.

Come enjoy and support our adult string students' performances of music by Purcell, Massenet, Bach, Bruch, Sarasate, Webster, Elgar, Walton, Grieg, and Prokofiev! Bring your instruments and stay to read chamber music with our SCE faculty and students. This event is free and open to the public!

There will be 2 concurrent workshops taking place in 2 separate locations: The Violin Workshop will be in SB 315 and The Cello and Viola Workshop will be in Pierce Hall. The workshops will last approximately an hour or more and everyone will then gather in Pierce Hall for some refreshments before heading to various locations in the Saint Botolph building for chamber music reading. All are welcome to join in the chamber music reading. Sam Ou, our chair of strings will organize reading groups during this refreshment period.
