NEC's Jazz Studies Department announces a new weekly jam session featuring various student and faculty ensembles as the house band. Jazz musicians in the community are welcome to participate, and the public is also invited to come and listen to some of Boston's most talented young artists.

The final Jam will feature NEC's Panama Ensemble. This group is selected from NEC's Jazz Department, and will represent NEC at the Panama Jazz Festival in January 2020. These students are Ester Wiesnerova, Aaron Dutton, Andres Orco-Zerpa, Lars Asmundsson and Chris Mondak. Come on out on December 15th! 

Jam sessions will take place on Sundays from 7 – 9 p.m on the Bower Stage in NEC’s new Student Life and Performance Center at 255 Saint Botolph Street.
