This concert is presented by the Foundation for Chinese Performing Arts.

After winning First Prize in the Chinese Performing Arts Festival in 2005,  Chi Wei Lo performed Liszt’s Totentanz with Longwood Symphony Orchestra at Boston’s Esplanade,  under the baton of Jonathan McPhee. Mr. Lo’s creativity and style made the year 2008 marked by numerous accomplishments,  including First Prize in the A. Ramon Rivera Piano Competition,  The New England Conservatory’s Preparatory School Concerto Competition in the top category. In 2017,  Mr. Lo became a doctoral candidate at the New England Conservatory, To celebrate his new album,  12/12,  which was released in November,  Mr. Lo’s promotional tour included appearances in more than ten radio stations in Taiwan and two benefit concerts for the Kaohsiung City Cerebral Palsy Association.
