Born in Inner Mongolia China, Angelo Xiang Yu moved to Shanghai at the age of 11 and received his early training from violinist Qing Zheng at the Shanghai Conservatory. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master's degrees as well as the prestigious Artist Diploma at the New England Conservatory of Music where he was a student of Donald Weilerstein and Miriam Fried and served as Mr. Weilerstein’s teaching assistant. He joined the faculty of the New England Conservatory Preparatory Department in 2016,

Feng Niu came to the U.S. in 2012, working with Mr. Gabriel Chodos at the New England Conservatory. She is currently pursuing a highly sought-after Doctor of Musical Arts degree at New England Conservatory, working with Dr. Pei-Shan Lee. The highlight of her recent and upcoming performances include appearances at the “First Monday Series” in Boston’s Jordan Hall, Strathmore’s “Music at the Mansion”, the Cranbrook Guild Music Series in Michigan, and the Phillips Collections’s “Sunday Concerts Series” in Washington DC.
