Ein Deutsches Requiem Open Sing

The Advanced Conducting course, taught by Professor Erica J. Washburn, will host an open sing of Johannes Brahms's "Ein Deutsches Requiem" on May 2 at 5pm. Four conducting students will take turns conducting different movements of the master work. Two NEC graduate students, Saori Erickson and John Watson will perform as soloists alongside a chamber orchestra and a core chamber choir. The students have been hard at work to prepare for a fun night for all! 

The event is free and open to the public. All are welcome to come and join in with the choir as they perform the requiem in its entirety. Scores will be provided at the door, you can bring your own, or you can download one from IMSLP.
