Cancelled | Word to Song: Exploring Your Personal Connection to the Text & Music

This workshop will explore: how to approach your song as an actor prepares a monologue, how text and music are woven together and how to apply basic acting techniques to your song texts.  Songs will range from Musical Theatre to Classical with a focus on how to work on objectives, subtext, breaking through foreign language barriers and more!  Ultimately it is our goal to help you find a more personal and believable connection to your music through your text!
