NEC Students Take Gold, Silver, and Bronze at Stulberg

New England Conservatory students swept first, second, and third prizes at the 2019 Stulberg International String Competition in Kalamazoo, Michigan:
- Violinist Daniel Rafimayeri ’22 was awarded the Burdick-Thorne Gold Medal, as well as the Bach Prize for the best performance of a work by J.S. Bach. Rafimayeri has just completed his first year at NEC and studies with Paul Biss.
- Cellist Nathan Le ’22 Harvard/NEC won the silver medal. Le studies with Laurence Lesser in the New England Conservatory/Harvard dual-degree program.

Violinist Sory Park ’21 won the Pinehurst Bronze Medal, and studies with Soovin Kim.
