Houston Symphony Appoints Yoonshin Song ’06 MM, ’08 GD as Concertmaster
The Houston Symphony, in Houston, Texas, United States has announced the appointment of South Korean-born violinist Yoonshin Song as its new Concertmaster – effective from the commencement of the 2019-2020 season.
A graduate of New England Conservatory and the Manhattan School of Music, Yoonshin has served as Concertmaster of the Detroit Symphony since 2012.
Yoonshin’s exceptional musicality, artistry, experience, and personality made her our unanimous choice.
