Prep violinist Emmy Ma takes bronze medal in ladies division at the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series.
Sixteen-year-old Emmy Ma who studies violin at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School was one of three figure skaters representing the United States who took bronze medals earlier this month at the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series in Riga, Latvia.
She is a member of NEC's Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and traveled with the group on their international tour to Norway in June 2017, performing in Oslo, Bergen, and Stavanger.
With this bronze medal, Emmy advances from her prior pewter medal in this event.
