Alumnus Dr. Jeffrey Sposato Named School of Music Director at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Dr. Jeffrey Sposato ’90, ’92 MM will serve as the next Director of the School of Music at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Dr. Sposato received a PhD in musicology from Brandeis University, an MM and BM in vocal performance from New England Conservatory, and a BA in German studies from Tufts University.  His teaching and research interests include music of the baroque, classical, and romantic periods; sacred music; choral music; concert traditions; and opera.
