Linda Barbieri grew up in Los Angeles, CA. Her education includes a BA in Theatre from UCLA, BM and MM in Vocal Performance from University of Arizona, and a GPD from the Peabody Conservatory. 

Some of Linda’s leading roles include Adele in “Die Fledermaus”, Mabel in “The Pirates of Penzance” and Peep-Bo in “The Mikado”. Linda is an active performer with many New England groups, including Longwood Opera, Opera Providence, New England Light Opera, The Bostonians, Worcestor Schubertiade and Chaminade Music Club. She has also sung with Whitewater Opera and Annapolis Chorale. She performs concerts each year, singing a variety of repertoire, from Offenbach to Verdi.

Linda often acts as Music Director for UnCommon Theatre’s Young Performer series in Foxboro, as well as other local theatres, including the Stadium Theatre in Woonsocket, RI. 

Linda runs Barbieri Voice Studio in Attleboro, MA. Barbieri Voice Studio is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and Linda enters her students in their annual Song Festival. Students of Barbieri Voice Studio often win, place or show in this competition. Linda is also on the faculty of the New England Conservatory Preparatory School and Rhode Island College. Former students have gone on to study music or theatre at NYU (Cap 21), Syracuse University, Wagner University, Hartt School, Marymount Manhattan, Hofstra University, Rhode Island College and UMASS Amherst, and others.
