Sonata Class Recital

Students from the NEC String and Piano departments present the fruit of the semester's work in a free recital.

Led by NEC faculty Vivian Hornik Weilerstein, student pairs perform individual movements of sonatas from various composers that demonstrate the equal partnering of string player and pianist.

Tonight's program features Sonata movements for violin & piano and cello & piano by Schubert, Grieg, Faure, Ravel, Brahms, Rachmaninov, and Beethoven.
