SICPP Electronics Workshop Concert
The SICPP Electronics Workshop is one of the many culminating events of SICPP.
Led by NEC’s Electronic Music Studio Director John Mallia and SICPP’s long-time percussion faculty Scott Deal, the Electronics Workshop deals with a wide range of electronic music styles and possibilities. The main focus is on the use of electronics in live performance settings, which can run the gamut from analog to digital, from purely electronic to electroacoustic, from fully composed to freely improvised, and every gradation between.

SICPP is an 8-day intensive seminar on the performance of 20th and 21st century music, culminating in a day-long marathon of explosive new music, a smorgasbord of masterworks and world premieres by composition fellows.
