NEC Songwriters Workshop Concert

Here are nine songs written this past fall by the students in the NEC Songwriters Workshop. Every Wednesday at 8:00 PM EST we would meet for 2 hours, and the songwriters would share the latest versions of the songs they were working on. The sessions were full of lively discussions on the progress of the songs – on the music, the lyrics, where the song was going... Students joined our Zoom sessions from China, Hawaii, Maryland, and Boston. Late in the semester each student worked on a recording of one of their songs. These are the recordings.
