Mai Motobuchi is an esteemed violist who has seen a fluorishing and multifacted career as a soloist, teacher, and chamber musician. She has performed with the likes of Yo Yo Ma, Midori, David Shifrin, Richard Stoltzman, and many more world class musicians. Motobuchi teaches at both NEC and her alma mater, Japan's Tenrikyo Institute of Music, and her tutelage has resulted in countless awards for her and her students.
