7:00pm- Jazz for Non-Majors Ensemble

This ensemble is designed to provide classical performers and composers with an introduction to the ethos and practice of jazz improvisation. Students rehearsed and performed selections from a broad range of jazz traditions and gain practical skills in jazz improvisation.

8:15pm- Seager Ensemble

The ensemble analyzed and learned two-dozen classic jazz standards deeply, focusing on singing, bass lines and memory.

9:30pm- Gospel Ensemble

The Gospel Ensemble explores contemporary gospel music as it is currently being created and performed. This ensemble works with repertoire composed within the last 20 years of contemporary gospel music and highlight key composers and choir leaders.
