Becca Stevens's original music is hailed worldwide for its intricate harmonies and rhythms subtly rooted in Jazz, Irish/Appalachian Folk, Indie Pop, and West African music. Boundless in the elements from which she draws her inspiration, Stevens is known for her unique ability to craft exquisite and authentic compositions both for her own band, and for GRAMMY award winning artists who run the gamut of genre from Jacob Collier, to Michael League (Snarky Puppy), and most notably with folk legend David Crosby. She will bring her one-of-a-kind artistry to one of the nation's finest concert halls during this solo performance in NEC's Jordan Hall.

    Jazz Lab welcomes students ages 14 – 18 who love jazz and want to push the boundaries of creative music. Young jazz instrumentalists and vocalists from the U.S. and abroad immerse themselves in the music for a week full of outstanding courses, incredible concerts and a community of artists.
