Guest Presenter: Longwood Symphony Orchestra

The concert is presented by the Longwood Symphony Orchestra.

Longwood Symphony Orchestra opens the 2019-20 season performing in Scotland, Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture and "An Orkney Wedding, with Sunrise" by composer Peter Maxwell Davies. The concert concludes with Brahm's First Symphony. This concert benefits Community Partners Greater Boston Physicians for Social Responsibility and International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War.
