Guest Presenter: Longwood Symphony Orchestra

This concert is presented by the Longwood Symphony Orchestra.

Acclaimed soloist Doris Stevenson—sought after for her acute sensitivity and musicianship—joins Maestro Ronald Feldman and the LSO for the Boston Premiere of Zachary Wadsworth’s piano concerto, a work commissioned by Feldman that he is particularly excited to share with our Boston audience. The program also includes Dvořák’s cheery and lyrical Symphony No. 8, and Stravinsky’s Scherzo à la russe, a bouncing trifle featuring a modern-for-its-time sensibility.
