Join the Jameson Singers for their performance of Johannes Brahms’ masterwork, Ein deutsches Requiem. Chosen by Dr. Jameson Marvin as his final project conducting the Jameson Singers, this profound work will enrich our emotions through Brahms’ expressive nuances, haunting harmonies, and intricate contrapuntal textures. Brahms referred to this as a “Human Requiem,” choosing words of solace, peace, and hope drawn from his studies of the Old and New Testaments of the German Lutheran Bible.
