  1. 8:15 PM | Marshall Gilkes Ensemble

    The Marshall Gilkes ensemble focuses on composing, arranging, and performing original music and standards with an emphasis on developing an overall group sound. Students develop their technical as well as verbal rehearsal skills in order to get the most out of their compositions and improvisations.

  2. 9:30 PM | Henrique Eisenmann Brazilian Ensemble

    This ensemble explores Brazilian music from the early choros of the 19th century to the music of Tom Jobim, Hermeto Pascoal and Guinga. Several different styles were approached, including frevo, samba, maracatu, baião, together with the social-historical understanding of the contexts in which these styles were created.
