Join the Berklee Contemporary Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Julius P. Williams, for a celebration of Berklee's graduating class of 2024 with music written for, in, and by academia, including compositions by Berklee alumni and faculty. Featuring Johannes Brahms’ Academic Festival Overture, as well as the King Lear Overture by Hector Berlioz, as well as selections from Berklee alumna Pinar Toprak’s music for the Captain Marvel movie, and Fantasy in Blue written by Berklee alumnus and Assistant Professor, Edmar Colón. This concert will also feature soloist Philip Lima, baritone and Assistant Chair of the Voice Department, in Julius P. Williams' Song Cycle for Baritone and Orchestra.
