NEC violist Kim Kashkashian, winner of the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Classical Instrumental Solo, is joined by her frequent recital partner, pianist Robert Levin for a recital of works by Vaughan Williams, Britten, Kodály, Bartok, and Brahms. 

She and Levin have previously recorded the Brahms Sonatas and Asturiana: transcribed songs of Manuel de Falla, Alberto Ginastera, Xavier Montsalvatge, Carlos Guastavino, and Carlos López Buchardo on the ECM label. They've also recorded music of Britten, Carter, Glazunov, Hindemith, Kodaly and Shostakovich.
