Overview

Applicants are considered for admission based on audition results, overall academic history, and artistic preparation.

NEC accepts applications for fall (September) admission into all majors and degree programs. Fall applicants must submit the online application by December 1. As described in the Audition Requirements, most programs require a prescreening recording.

Applications for spring (January) admission are accepted on a space-available basis. Students interested in applying for January entry should contact us about anticipated openings before submitting an application.
