More than a residence hall, the Student Life and Performance Center (SLPC) serves as a vibrant hub for student living, learning, and artistic collaboration. The facility features a two-level library, dining commons, black box opera studio, large orchestra rehearsal space with acoustics modeled after Jordan Hall, and a small ensemble rehearsal and recording space designed for jazz and contemporary improvisation.

Incoming undergraduate students are required to live in NEC housing during their first four semesters. Additional housing opportunities may be available for returning students through the housing selection process, and students may also explore a variety of off-campus housing options in the Boston area.
