The Boston Herald has called A Feast of Music one of Boston’s “Top 10” parties. But music patrons who attend A Feast of Music know that it is more than just a chance to get dressed up and go to a glamorous gala. This fabulous evening brings together 450 of Boston’s most prominent business leaders and cultural philanthropists to benefit New England Conservatory’s General Scholarship Fund. One of the season’s most anticipated evenings, A Feast of Music pairs sumptuous food and wine with superb performances by NEC students of jazz, opera, and classical music.

After the acclaim of last year’s Italian-themed gala, Festa della Musica, this year A Feast of Music adopts a French theme with the name Le Festin de la Musique. This year the event will feature everything French—from works by French composers, to food, wine, and Silent Auction treasures that resonate with the elegance and refinement of France. We are working closely with the Consul General of France, Christophe Guilhou, to create an evening with an authentic Gallic panache!

France is legendary for its fine cuisine. As a unique tribute to NEC, world-renowned celebrity Chef Guy Martin of Le Grand Vefour in Paris, Sensing Boston and Paris, and Le Pont du Ciel in Osaka, Japan, has agreed to create a special menu of his fabled cuisine specifically for this year's event. So prepare to be transported to the heights of culinary ecstasy by the creative delights of Guy Martin's magnifique dishes!

And we are just getting started . . . for the first time ever, NEC Alum Bo Winiker and his orchestra have agreed to perform at the after-party of this year's gala. So you and your partner will be dancing until the wee hours to the big-band classics and soulful French jazz tunes by one of NEC's best-known alums. The Bo Winiker Orchestra has performed at many of the top events in the city, so this is an innovation we know you will love.

We invite you to support this memorable gala fundraising evening through the purchase of individual tickets or through a corporate, table or musical performance sponsorship.
