NEC offers two programs for advanced chamber ensembles that show the talent and commitment necessary to pursue a concert career. The programs are open to pre-existing ensembles that already demonstrate an exceptionally high level of performance ability. One group is in residence at a time in each program, typically for a period of two years.
Participants usually earn the Master of Music degree or Graduate Diploma (providing they meet any qualifying degree requirements) during their two years in the program.
Professional programs offered:
Professional Piano Trio Training Program under the direction of Vivian Weilerstein
Professional String Quartet Training Program under the direction of Paul Katz
