All incoming and international students must have their records registered in SEVIS within the first two weeks of each semester.
Incoming Students:
Submit your Candidate Response Form and $500 Tuition Deposit by April 15, 2012 to NEC Admissions.
Submit your Certification of Finances (COF) and financial support by May 15, 2012 to NEC Admissions.
New students must present complete a check-in form and bring it to their academic advisor along with their passport, I-94, F1 visa, and I-20 form.
Returning Students:
Your completion of the Registrar's check-in sheet serves as your SEVIS check-in. Make sure you provide an updated local address. If your visa status has changed, please inform your International Student Advisor immediately.
Post-Completion Optional Practical Training:
Graduating students are eligible to apply for post-completion optional practical training in the field of music. Applications must be approved by your International Advisor and sent directly to the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Service Center for processing. The entire application process can take up to 4 months and early application is strongly advised.
May 2012 Graduates should have meet with International Advisor and have materials prepared by April 20, 2012.
