During one of his monthly teaching residencies at NEC, pianist/composer Jason Moran offers this public masterclass, in which he will work with solo pianists. This visit concludes with the New England premiere of Moran's In My Mind project.
Moran, named a MacArthur Fellow for 2010 and called "the most provocative thinker in current jazz" by Rolling Stone magazine, joined the NEC faculty last year.
