Samuel Adams created and directed NEC's School of Continuing Education and Summer School during his 25 years as an administrator, stepping down in 2008 to chair the SCE piano department and continue to teach both adult and Preparatory School piano students.
Adams is a solo recitalist in the Boston area and serves as director of music at First Church in Chestnut Hill. He received NEC's Robert A. Rachdorf Staff Award in 2001.
