  12. Special Thanks

I want to thank my dear teacher, mentor, and friend Carla Kihlstedt for all your support, encouragement, and inspirations. I would not be able to grow my musical personality and courage so much without your guidance.

I want to thank Dominique Eade and Nedelka Prescod -- you both, with your great vocal talents and patience and love as teachers, tremendously changed the way I sing.

Thank you Hankus Netsky and Eden MacAdam-Somer for your generous support and understanding throughout my journey at NEC.

Thank you Mike Block, for making me realize how much fun I could have playing the cello, and Kati Agócs, for guiding, supporting, and challenging me as a composer.

I also want to thank Itay, Michele, and Karl for all the Third Stream journey together and the ensembles, lunches, and trust we have shared over the past two years.

Lastly, I want to thank my friends and family who have been at my back all the time, being my accompaniment, audience, and inspiration. I dedicate my music and love to you.
