Recital: Cailin Singleton '24, Double Bass
NEC's students meet one-on-one each week with a faculty artist to perfect their craft. As each one leaves NEC to make their mark in the performance world, they present a full, professional recital that is free and open to the public. It's your first look at the artists of tomorrow.

I would firstly like to thank Donald Palma for his major impact on not only my playing as a
double bassist, but as a person in this crazy music world. He has taught me with immense
patience and generosity that has shaped me into who I am today. I would not be where I am without him.
Thank you to my parents and my sister, Tyler, who have always supported my outlandish
endeavors without any hesitancy.
Thank you last, but certainly not least, to my friends (including the bass family) who have
attended nearly every performance of mine. They have been some of my biggest supporters at NEC, and for this I am forever in their debt.
Thank you for attending my recital.
