La Mer et L’Île (The Sea and The Island) is a leading K-CLASSIC chamber music society as well as the arts society of Korea composed of renowned artists to promote Korean arts and culture through classical music, fine arts and literature. La Mer et L’Île has been performing, since 2013, throughout Korea and all ocer the world (Singapore, Sydney, Hong Kong, Prague, Frankfurt, Amesterdam, Paris, Rotterdam and Shanghai) with continued critical acclaim. In the first concert tour to North America (Toronto, Boston, and New York) this coming September, La Mer et L’Île will perform nor only western classical music but contemporary Korean chamber music with beautiful harmonization of their traditional musical instruments with the West.
