Great artists give free concerts at New England Conservatory—simply because they teach here.

Violist Dimitri Murrath '08 A.D. performs selections from 18th, 19th, and 20th Century composers. The concert will feature accompaniment by NEC alum and pianist for Trio Cavatina, Ieva Jocubaviciute. Tonights performance will also feature a work by Benjamin Britten, whose centennial is being celebrated by NEC and throughout the world.

A frequent chamber player and soloist, Murrath has performed and prized in many competitions worldwide and has commissioned, premiered, and recorded works by composers Edwin Roxburgh and Michel Lysight.
