Project STEP (String Training and Educational Program for Students of Color) is an independent organization sponsored by NEC, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and Boston University School for the Arts.

Project STEP Artistic Director Mariana Green-Hill brings STEP's string players for one of several back-to-back performances by young musicians at the Hynes Convention Center this afternoon.

Admission is free with First Night button.
