Judith Serkin is a graduate of the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia. Her teachers were Marta Casals Istomin, David Soyer and Mischa Schneider. She has been a member of the Guilford and Hebrew Arts (later known as the Mendelssohn) String Quartets and played in the Iceland Symphony, and has been a longtime participant at Marlboro Music. Ms. Serkin has toured extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Japan. She has been a teacher for over 40 years and has been teaching at NEC Prep since 2013.
