Auditions for Fall 2012 admission
Note: NEC does not cancel auditions due to snowstorms or other severe weather even if NEC is closed for all other activities.
The dates below pertain to auditions for Fall 2012 admission. For those majors with more than one scheduled audition date, applicants are given the opportunity to indicate their date preference in the application for admission. While we try to schedule applicants for their preferred dates, we are unable to do so in all cases due to space limitations. Therefore, applicants should not make travel arrangements until their audition date is confirmed in writing via email by the Office of Admission. All audition dates are subject to change and/or cancellation due to faculty availability.

*If invited to present a live audition, Artist Diploma applicants (both general and Opera) must audition on the date indicated. There are no exceptions.
**If invited to present a live audition, D.M.A. applicants must audition on a D.M.A. audition day if one is indicated for their instrument. There are no exceptions. The required D.M.A. exams in theory and music history will take place on the day before or after the live audition.
