Official transcripts must be obtained and submitted to NEC in original, sealed envelopes. Transcripts should show coursework completed, grades earned to date, and classes in which the student is currently enrolled. Please do not send multiple copies of the same transcript.
Photocopies, transcripts printed from the internet, and transcripts not received in the issuing schools' original, sealed envelopes will not be accepted.
All transcripts must be in English. International students whose original transcripts are not issued in English must also provide notarized translations.
The Office of Admission may require that international applicants have their transcripts evaluated by an organization specializing in foreign credential evaluation, such as World Education Services (www.wes.org) or Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. (www.ece.org). Students are welcome to contact these, or other, transcript evaluation services before applying in order to expedite the process and to accurately determine what level of study they are qualified for in the United States.
