CE Jazz Certificate Student Julia Bomfim
"I feel very fortunate because at the end of the day I’m doing something that I really love." Julia Bomfim is a Jazz Certificate student in NEC's School of Continuing Education. Her certificate recital will take place Saturday, December 21 at 6:30 p.m. in NEC’s Pierce Hall, and is free and open to the public.

On Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18, alumni, students, and faculty came together on the NEC campus to play music inspired by the NEC Jazz Studies department’s 50 year history and to celebrate the many prominent alumni and faculty members who have influenced jazz over the years.

The Verona Quartet graduated from NEC's Professional String Quartet Program in 2019 and have been selected to receive the Cleveland Quartet Award for the 2020–21 and 2021–22 seasons.
