Among the varied types of events recorded in the archives are auctions, seminars, performance series, other fundraising functions and annual class reunions. Event files include programs, invitations and attendance lists. Other records from Alumni Relations include: memorabilia; reports; statistics; surveys; class yearbooks (Neume, 1905-1971, 1976, 1997-1998); and alumni directories/listings (compiled in 1901, 1940, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1998, 2007 and 2012). Also in the archives are the records of the Alumni Association dating back to its founding in 1876. These records include: a record of the first association meeting; the Alumni Association Constitution and Amendments, early lists of members from the 1890s, and meeting minutes from 1879 through the 1990s.  Alumni Association records also contain: reports of the treasurer, corresponding secretary, financial secretary,  and auditors; reports of the Tourjée Memorial Student Aid Fund and other funded organizations; and Articles of Incorporation from July 1941.

In addition, the records of the "Friends of NEC" organization are kept with the Alumni relations files.  These records, dating from 1958-1991, include correspondence, administrative records, committee minutes, and event records.
