Matthew Shifrin ’21 Accepted into 2019 MassChallenge Boston

Matthew Shifrin ’21's Project Daredevil is an interdisciplinary project developing virtual reality for the blind: 3D radio-dramas with motion simulation and smell.

Shifrin's project is one of more than 100 early-stage startups that have been accepted into the 2019 MassChallenge Boston program, sponsored by MassChallenge, a global network of zero-equity startup accelerators. Rigorously selected by a community of close to 200 expert judges, this year’s competitive cohort represents the top 9% of applications from around the world.

Shifrin studies in the Contemporary Improvisation department, and Project Daredevil was awarded a 2017 EM Grant from Entrepreneurial Musicianship at NEC.
