Senior MYWE

Open to advanced high school-age (grades 10-12) woodwind, brass, percussion, harp, double bass and piano players. Auditions are generally at the level of All-State auditions. This is the senior level wind ensemble at NEC Prep and is a touring ensemble. In June 2014, Sr. MYWE toured to Ireland and then traveled to the Czech Republic in June of 2016. Sr. MYWE will travel again during the 2017-2018 season. 

Rehearsals: Friday, 4:15 PM - 6:30 PM (before Thanksgiving), 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM (after Thanksgiving)

MYWE Tours

MYWE goes on tour every other summer. In June 2014, MYWE traveled to Ireland. June 2016 saw a successful concert tour to Prague. This past year, MYWE traveled to Italy during the February break and presented concerts in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, Orvieto, and Rome.

Audition Information

Auditions for Sr. MYWE are held in the spring for the following year.

Attendance

Attendance is required at all rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and performances. The full attendance policy may be reviewed here.
